Born and raised in Taiwan, Conrad started his career in the Taiwanese army located at the military airport as anti-air strike artillery operator. After military service, Conrad worked for a major computer gaming organisation as customer service agent and game operator. Conrad later specialised in Telecommunication sales and gained experience as an administrator for a construction company. This early experience provided Conrad with a good understanding of how different industries develop strategies that are best suited to their markets.
Early in his career Conrad developed skills and interests in communication and consumer behaviour, which prompted him to develop his education further. Already armed with a Bachelor of Business, he decided his next challenge would be to complete a master’s degree with a focus towards marketing.
Australia offered the best options, so Conrad enrolled at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Master of Business Degree, majoring in Integrated Marketing Communication. During this time, he had the opportunity to become involved in digital marketing projects with local companies. This allowed Conrad to put into practice the methods and theories he has learned at QUT.
Conrad joined Thexton Dodd Consulting in September 2018 to help them develop their strategic marketing programme to promote their services. Conrad has a passion for Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” and how it applies to business. He enjoys applying Sun Tzu’s philosophy to his marketing strategies.
