Daniela Craemer- Kühn

Born in Germany, Daniela started her career as a product planner with the Japanese manufacturer Mazda, working at their European Research & Development department.

Two children and several years working for Mazda Motors Europe as a team lead for market research later, she joined McKinsey & Company as Specialist Consultant. The majority of the projects Daniela worked on, focussed on business management, strategy and organisational structure issues.

In 2006, Daniela joined Raytheon Professional Services in Europe, to manage the European Opel Training Programme. Daniela was responsible for managing the European Opel Training, including training dealership management, technicians, sales consultants and service advisors. Her responsibilities included all aspects of managing a business.

After moving on to manage the German, Austrian and Swiss market operations for all of Raytheon Professional Services’ customers in 2009, Daniela was instrumental in winning a multi-year Training Programme for Raytheon in Australia. This saw her moving her children (including dogs and a horse) to Australia in 2014. Daniela became Raytheon Australia’s Commercial Training Director at the beginning of 2016, responsible for all commercial training programmes, Holden and Coles amongst them.

In 2017, after a restructure at Raytheon Australia, Daniela moved on to become LCR Group’s GM for Industrial Services, i.e. their crane and transport services division. At LCR, Daniela started the successful transition of the division to implement a new structure combining operations all across Queensland. She succeeded in outperforming the annual operating plan by almost 20% in revenue whilst also returning a higher than planned profit.

Daniela’s formal education includes a German masters degree in International Business Management and Economics, and an MBA from Henley Business School, UK.

Daniela is also a member of the Queensland chapter of the Project Management Institute.
